Re: apparently my htc one has a hard brick, can any1 help please? It sounds like the previous owner unlocked the bootloader, which technically voids the warranty (it's up to the discretion of HTC). The phone has now bricked (for whatever reason). HTC figured that out. That or HTC is making the whole thing up to avoid the warranty repair.
