Substitute Yamaha. To that end, if you are looking for a beginner model but you want to avoid the Mendini or Eastrock version, consider Yamaha trumpets. Yamaha is a slightly better beginner option, particularly for brass instruments. I recommend Yamaha for brass instruments and pianos for beginners.

Imo revel have a much much larger range of kits. I think I could say they do more kits than any other manufacturer but don't hold me to this. I prefer revell over airfix because as mentioned they have more kits and a larger variety of subjects. e.g revell do quite a few 1/48 jets. Airfix do barely any. That said, airfix's new toolings in

Revellisn't as good as AUTOart, they're more budget models. Your'e better off modding cheap models first so if you f*** the thing up, it's not a as much a loss as if u ruined a good model. and a cheap model can be brought up to AUTOart levels with some xtra effort :cheers

Revellpaint works well becuase it can be scrubbed on and it just levels itself out and you’re good to go.
